The Bond University Fitness Centre (a $12 million facility) has won numerous state and national awards, including:

indoor multipurpose sports hall, two squash

Bond University also contains a range of active social and sporting clubs for students to join .Recreational Officers are responsible for organising social activities and events, including the orientation week activities, weekly Res Wars (activities for oncampus students) and activities through out the semester like the Staff v Student debate, BondStock and Wednesday by the Water BBQThe oncampus office of Student Flights offers a regular program of day trips, known at Bond Breaks, to local theme parks, wildlife sanctuaries and adventure activities such as scuba diving, rock climbing, learntosurf lessons, canyoning, horseriding and hot air ballooning. They also arrange longer trips away to some of Australia's top holiday spots like the Whitsunday Islands, Fraser Island, Uluru/Ayers Rock, Sydney and Byron Bay. In addition to ‘Bond Breaks’ there are a variety of Day Activities for you to choose from such as Sky Diving, Zorbing, Dreamworld (Six flags type), Australia Zoo, Whale Watching, Winery Tours, Wild Life Tours, Rainforest walks and many more…In addition to the above, the Student Council is very active and facilitates the operation of a number of student societies and recreational activities.
